At home I try to keep myself up-to-date... Even if it means taking everything apart and reassembling them with new parts. |

My Dell Axim x5, HTC touch HD and Nokia Lumia 800 have proved to be of incredible use in developing
all kind of applications... Since then I worked on all kinds of devices, but mostly on Android devices. Xamarin development removes the platform limits ;-) |

At The Concept Group
, I use a Dell laptop and enough RAM to run my own Hyper-V development servers. The server playground extends to unlimited sizes on Azure Using Visual Studio, I create applications for Datalogic and Motorola handheld devices. |

2009 - 2014 | ||||||||
At Euroshop, I started with my own Laptop with
Windows 7 and my own HTC Touch HD. Sadly, this stayed to the end.
I had a brand new playroom with servers, a network with 7 locations and many workstations! |

2006 - 2009 | ||||||||
At work with Astena, I use a HP nx9420 laptop with Vista Business I manage a serverfarm of HP/Compaq Proliants from DL380 to ML360 and Siemens S100... Cisco Routers provide us with Internet access via ADSL, Watchguards handle the VPN and security. |

2003 - 2006 | ||||||||
With Navisoft , I had a Compaq Evo N1020v and a Qtek2020...
2000 - 2003 | ||||||||
At Easy Solutions , I had a Dell Latitude that I took everywhere. As I developed ASP webapplications and PocketPC applications, the IT part got a little sidetracked...
1998 - 2000 | ||||||||
In the brewery Palm, where the
network was simmilar but five times as big. Instead of an AS400, we had an
Data General AVIION
-system with Unix as operating system and
Cobol programming. Six NT-servers managed a network of about 100 PC's.
File-sharing, E-mail, printing, databases, everything was network-based. Since brewery Palm took over Rodenbach, I remotely managed the network in Roeselare with PcAnywhere. We configured the network in Palm NV (Steenhuffel) to be linked with the network in Rodenbach (Roeselare) and with Palm BV (Raamsdonkveer, Nederland) by 3Com routers that used ISDN dial-up connections (Incredible at the time). |
||||||||
1997 - 1998 | ||||||||
In 1997, I had the opportunity of building an ethernet network inside the brewery Rodenbach. The Windows NT4 based network was managed by a Compaq ProLiant 2500 and supported with a ProLiant 800 as databaseserver, while the specific brewery software ran on an IBM AS400 . From time to time, the personal computers were evaluated and new ones are bought, resulting in just about every type of computers from different brands. You can imagine the fun in bringing them all together in one network... |
